Ingredients
BOILING THE RICE:
2 cups Basmati rice soaked for 1/2 an hour
2-3 green cardamom/illaichi
1 baylaef/tejpatta
1 black cardamom
1 piece cinnamon/dalchini
1/2 tsp shahi jeera
Salt to taste.

COOKING THE VEGETABLES:

4 tbsp ghee/oil
1/2 tsp shahi jeera
1-2 green cardamom
4-6 black pepper corns
3-4 thinly sliced onions
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
3-4 slit green chillies
2 carrots chopped
1 potato cubed
10-12 cauliflower florets
8-10 beans chopped
1/2 cup green peas
Salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp any biryani masala
1 cup beaten yogurt
Fresh coriander
Fresh mint leaves

LAYERING THE RICE:

1 cup fried onions
Fresh coriander
Fresh mint leaves
1/2 tsp garam masala
4 tbsp saffron soaked milk
2 tbsp ghee
Some fried cashews
