I will be showing you how to make a very simple Punjabi style Dal Makhani recipe. Daal Makhani is one of the most popular Indian recipe along with Daal tadka and Daal fry. It is a Very healthy, rich and full of proteins also. it goes very well with Naan, rotis, parathas or even with some rice along with it.

Ingredients

3/4 Cup urad dal (whole black lentil)/150 gms
1/4 Cup rajma (kidney beans)/50 gms
Salt to taste
2 Tbsp clarified butter/ghee
1 Tsp cumin seeds
2 Green chillies chopped
3/4 Cup finely chopped onions/2-3 onions
1 Tbsp ginger garlic crushed
1 Tsp red chilly powder
1/4 Tsp turmeric powder
1 Tsp garam masala
1 Cup fresh tomato puree/4 tomatoes
3 Tbsp plain yogurt
3-4 Tbsp fresh cream
Some fresh coriander
