As the name suggested this traditional Indian sweet is made from small size sago pearls (sabudana) and fruit. It is probably the most common type of sweet and delicious food served on fasting days. It can be enjoyed during the navratri festival and other occasions however you can make this recipe in general to satistfy your sweet carvings. This is the recipe of full of nutrition and tastes awesome at the same time.

You can make this recipe by following some easy steps like first of all boil milk and then let milk simmer on low flame and then add soaked sago in it. Cook on low flame for few minuts. When milk thickens than add sugar and saffron in it, and mix it well and let it cook for few minutes and you will get a bowl of this delightful dessert.

Add apple, soft pear and some fresh pomegranate seeds to make this sabudana recipe more nutritious. Garnish it with almond and pistachio chips.
It is best when served chilled.
