Creme Caramel : One Of The World Best Loved Dessert

Ingredients based on a litre of milk (makes 8 ramequins) :

Fool proof version of the recipe:
1 litre of milk
6 eggs
200 grams of sugar
1 fresh vanilla pod split open.

for the caramel:
75 grams of sugar
50ml of water

Second version of that recipe to get a more delicate creme caramel (the technique to use is the same as in the video except for the eggs):

1 litre of milk
4 full eggs
4 eggs yolks
150 grams of sugar
1 fresh vanilla pod split open.

in both recipes you have to cook the creme in a bain marie in oven at 180 celsius or 420 Fahrenheit
